Classic Caprese salad presented as fun and easy-to-eat skewers.

Ingredients

  • Cherry Tomatoes: 1 pint
  • Fresh Mozarella Balls: 8 oz
  • Fresh Basil Leaves: 1 bunch

Dressing

  • Balsamic Glaze: 2 tbsp (for drizzling)
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil: 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Salt: to taste
  • Black Pepper: to taste

Preparation Steps

  1. Thread one cherry tomato, one basil leaf (folded if large), and one mozzarella ball onto small skewers.
  2. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  3. Arrange skewers on a platter.
  4. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and optionally, a little olive oil.
  5. Season with salt and pepper just before serving.

Notes

Use vegan mozzarella alternative for a vegan version.
